Put a jumper between the Gate and Source. Take your transistor checking VOM and put the plus lead on the Source, with the negative lead on the Drain. A good MOSFETs measured 520 ohms or so.

Now remove jumper. Put VOM minus lead on Source and plus lead on Gate. Then move the plus lead to the Drain. Should be 1 ohm or so, very low. Then touch the Gate with your finger and the meter should go very high. The VOM went to infinity. Bad MOSFETs will not pass this test.
